TY kindly Been Burned and Hyacinth! I wish I had known about this forum before buying my collection of Coach (over 50 items-now suspect most fake! All bought on Ebay.)
What do you do if you get a fake?
Ebay refunded purchase price and shipping but, made me pay return shipping incl. insurance and tracking--this is not fair! I got ripped off and I am penalized for it!:mad:

I just received this bag and it has no creed inside and no pocket-looks too pristine, stiff and hardware not like my other swingpacks-no Coach stamp (just brown silky lining and sm. side tag saying made in China-suspecting it is fake but, seller seemed so nice and sincere said he bought it at Coach store!

Coach has used several different types of dust bags. The newer dust bags are white satiny material with dark brown drawstrings and brown satiny material with cream-colored drawstrings. Some have the regular Coach lozenge logo and some have the horse and carriage logo. There are also older dust bags that are brown cotton with red drawstrings.

The item in the listing looks good.

Coach is inconsistent with many of its smaller items (swingpacks, wristlets, pouches, cosmetic cases, etc.):

  • Some smaller items have a creed with a serial number
  • Some smaller items have a creed without a serial number
  • Some smaller items have don't have a creed at all.
And to add more confusion to the mix, the same style item might have a creed if made in one plant and may not have a creed from another plant.
