I agree, there are other things beyond the creed that lead me to be concerned that this is not authentic. If it were me I would not bid unless I was sure. There are many of these I have passed on in fear even though I had wanted that color/style.

It looks ok, but please ask for a picture of the creed.
The older Coach dust bags were brown cotton with red drawstrings and the newer dust bags are dark brown or white satin material.
Sorry, fake. Is this listed in an active auction or do you already own it? If you bought it, you need to insist on a full refund from the seller. The serial # and the creed stamping are both wrong, among other things.
"every indication is that it is authentic" - not at all, I'm seeing something in almost every photo that's screaming "fake". It doesn't even look as if the creed is stamped straight, and the font and spacing of the words is wrong - even the wording is wrong.

Personally, I don't recommend sellers who "borrow" copyrighted material from the designer website (or from any other source).
This seller uses Coach's stock photo in the listing as well as much of the description.
