The tag does not look authentic and neither does the lining, however, I will leave it up to the experts. TIA

There's nothing wrong with it. It's a Soho Drawstring Wristlet from Fall-Winter 2003 and the style number is 7128. The hangtag and lining are exactly right for the year and are NOT the same as the cheap fake hangtags and C linings on newer counterfeits.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone would authenticate this bag for me:

Item: I actually don't know.. it's a vintage coach bag

Seller: Choobay

Comments: I noticed that the creed has uneven spacing where it says "scars, scratches, veins" so that bothers me... or is this normal?

please and thank you~ <3

Welcome to the Purse Forum!

The bag looks fine to me and I don't see any problem with the creed.

A5D-9892 would be a 1995 "Chrystie" bag (not exactly sure of the spelling) and that's what a Chrystie bag looks like.

Wait for other opinions.

:smile1:

xbubblyx, please take a good look at the creed and tell us if it says "marKings" or "marXings". Everything looks ok but I'm hoping it's just a trick of the light that's making that one letter look like an X.

Thanks!

you're right, it does look suspicious...
I will ask the seller for a more detailed picture of the creed.
thank you so much Hyacinth and DemRam!

Hi!
You ladies authenticated my much used & loved purple ergo last year (thanks again). Now I need (OK, want) something new...
I would be very grateful if someone could authenticate this for me: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300396375679&_trksid=p2759.l1259

Also, it seems a bit pricey for a used bag. Does anyone know if these still show up in outlets?
Thanks!
The bag looks okay.

As for price, that's really very subjective because if a bag is HTF or if you really want it bad enough, price is secondary to finding the item.

In fact, I recall some denim bags from about 3-ish years ago that were being flipped on ebay for around $800. The original price was in the $200 range but they were next to impossible to find.

Hi all. I'm new to the forum and new to Coach bags. I'm crossing over from Dooney & Bourke and am looking forward to owning my very first Coach bag. Was hoping someone could authenticate this for me please?

Comments: Is it normal for the Coach tags to be in the back of the bag?

There's no "rule" about where the tags are placed.

That's a highly Trusted Seller who deals only in genuine Coach.

Thank you so much for the quick, and thankfully positive, reply! This forum is full of great people and great advice and information. Happy to have found it. :smile1:

You're welcome.

Guess now I have to forget about Coach and learn about yard gnomes. :D
