Comments: The listing has ended, but I've never seen this before. Authentic or not? TIA!
I don't see any problems with it but I thought dustbags were among the "items that encourage infringement" prohibited accessories policy and couldn't be sold.

With that being said, would selling the cases for sunglasses without the actual sunglasses fall under that category? I'm interested in finding out.

There was a several-month-long period where ebay was pulling listings for all sunglasses cases.

Don't quote me on it but I believe they revised the policy to allow the sale of cases that are sold as free-standing items. That would include the soft leather and signature Coach eyeglass cases that are sold by themselves.

Although I've seen listings for them, I believe that it's a violation of policy to sell the hard clamshell signature cases that are included with the purchase of sunnies. Coach doesn't sell them and they aren't supposed to be resold on ebay.

There are definitely not enough pictures to determine authenticity but the bag doesn't scream fake.

The bag does match the style number.

Not to go off topic but I just have to say is it just me or does anyone else HATE when there is only 1 picture of the bag. I usually hit the back button. I've sold stuff on ebay for years and its not that hard to put up more than 1 pic. :-s

I think all the regular posters here agree completely. We always tell everyone never to bid or buy on any highly faked item where the seller only shows one picture - not just because it makes it almost impossible to authenticate, but also because it doesn't clearly show the condition of the item. There's no excuse except ignorance, arrogance or laziness for it especially when there are ways of showing multiple pics without having to pay Ebay an extra charge for each photo.

Anyone who who buys a Coach without a clear pic of the creed AND without asking someone here to look at it is just asking for trouble, and the fakes situation on Ebay is going to get a lot worse because of recent decisions by Ebay management.

Hyacinth, scroll down past the description for more pictures.

I've scrolled down all the way and only get the 1 large & 3 small pics of the bag and then my browser seems to be blocking some Auctiva JavaScript. Let me see if I can fiddle with some settings.

Edited to add - Still can't get the Auctiva window to come up in FF so I went to the seller's Ebay listings. The serial # in the listing is the same as in the photo so I'm not sure what the problem is. Someone please whack me on the head if I'm missing something I should be seeing. :confused1:

If it's a matter of not understanding Coach serial numbers, please read the posts on the subject at the Answers forum, starting here:
