^before i edit and edit again i thought it might be factory..but i assumed factory would have a F which is why i'm confused as well

i just know the style numbers for carly signature is 10619 and 10620 for small and large size, the slim i forgot..

there are other styles like cotton C and sateen, leather, etc with different style numbers..

but as far as i know for boutiques, signature carly with jacquard fabric, only came in those two style numbers, slims style aside.

so if it is factory. i have noooooo clue :p sorry for confusion! i'm a bit confused myself.. :x

Edited to add: I saw Ms-whitney's opinion and I'm not convinced that the bag is fake. In fact, here is another listing for the same style number and in fact, identical serial number (date and factory):

I'm not 100% certain that authenticity has been determined.

Please wait for other opinions.

Over the last couple of years, I've seen some 'good' fake Carly bags. I'm not sure whether your's is one of them.

You say she used to buy fakes? Do you know where? Can you ask where this one came from?

Hi, I hope I am doing this correctly, as I am new to TPF. Can anyone authenticate this Coach? I just bought it, and I am not so sure if it is authentic. It is the Coach Soho Vachetta Leather Handbag, style 10582. and in fact there is another one for sale on ebay right now.

I didn't buy it from this seller; i bought if from a private seller new to ebay, but it has all the characteristics described in the above listing (except that it is black instead of camel). The style number is the same, as indicated by the last 5 numbers on the serial number.

Welcome to tPF.

It's impossible to authenticate a bag based on pictures of a different bag. The counterfeiters can get style numbers and serial numbers correct.

You'll need to take pictures of YOUR bag and post them.

The seller is correct. Coach is inconsistent regarding serial numbers and creeds. There are essentially no "rules."

With many smaller accessory items such as swingpacks, pouches, cosmetic cases, wristlets, etc.,
1. Some smaller items have creeds with serial numbers
2. Some smaller items have creeds without serial numbers
3. Some smaller items do not have creeds at all
4. Some of the same style items might have creeds if made in some factories and may not have creeds if from a different factory.

The swingpack you've referred to is authentic.
