This is pretty random, but when I posted that Legacy Pouch, it was only bid up to $5.00 -- now there's 10 bids on it up to $32.00. it went up fast in 15 minutes. This isnt the first time I've had that happen. I check something for authenticity in this forum and then the item gets either #1 sold or #2 gets bid up to high heavens. LOL ...

^ thats why i think sometimes it can be a double edge sword, posting here..

if its four years or newer i can definitely check and know whether its authentic or not, as i've handled just about every bag from that period

anything older i don't really comment on

if you like you can PM me next time or beenburned or any of the ones that seem to know whether its real or fake :)

To add to what ms-whitney says, most of the "newer" items, i.e., last few years, are not OOAK and even if posting here brings attention to it and raises the bids, chances are that there will be another listing for the same item coming along.

You're always better off asking about the item before bidding/buying than after the fact. It's easier not to bid if you find out that it's either fake or the seller isn't one that you want to do business with than it is to try to get a refund after the fact.

Yeah, that's why I'm often leery of posting something that I've been looking for for ages lol.

that seller krishna botique sells, fakes..

the parker satchel is such a freaking good replica i think, save..adding the extra unnecessary charms..and the coach script..in the middle...did factory make a version of this or...? i don't recall seeing that at ALL and the fabric/hardware/size just looks funky but it could be bad picture taking..

still, fake.

as for the jm_stuff, that is a, factory exclusive, can't comment for sure..

krishna_botique -- DO NOT BUY!! Her Coach items are fake.

#2 - might be okay but we need more pictures and clearer pictures.

You could always save the pictures to your computer and post them on here that way. Then you get your answer but don't give away your source of a good deal :graucho:

The problem with that recommendation is that it's often a seller's history, feedback, reputation, other listings, etc., that give a lot of insight into whether the seller is someone who you'd want to do business with.

If the seller is a picture thief, the pictures might show an authentic item but there's no way to know what the buyer will receive since we can't see that the seller does her own work.

Or if the seller mixes authentic and fakes, is that someone you'd want to buy from?

Or if the seller has a history of selling fakes and might have been suspended or restricted, they might be trying to get back into ebay's good graces by listing authentic items.

There's a lot more involved than just looking at pictures and commenting on authenticity of those pix.
