"Looking like" or being "similar" to another bag is NOT proof of authenticity and should NEVER be used or taken as proof.

I have been watching this auction for awhile. I LOVE this bag. I have read on the board, and in this thread that this seller is a trusted seller; so I'm hoping the bag is authentic. However, what kind of price will I expect to pay for this bag? All of them are going pretty high, is this about what I will likely pay or is this a bit much? I really like like silver hardware more than the gold, all the other ones I've found don't have silver hardware. Thanks!

The Beaumont Satchel seems to be ok, the month code is definitely a letter. We've seen a few bags with "I" month codes where all the other details have been ok (the same thing with "N" codes but mostly in Italian-made bags) so I think it's just a case of someone "not getting the memo" about what letter to use when changing the stamp's month code. The rest of the bag looks right.

Someone else will have to answer about the jewelry case.
