It's impossible to authenticate based on a serial number because the counterfeiters can copy anything.

Thus a valid serial number won't confirm authenticity.

As for the "P," that means (on an authentic bag) that's it's a pilot bag.

THose bags are from the holiday season of several years ago. Your bag is from 2001.

i am the seller - someone told me my stuff is fake, which i would NEVER knowingly sell fake anything!!!! so i am posting here to see other opinions. ill also take them to the Coach store near me tomorrow and if i find out they are fake, ill de-list them. i have 5 or 6 listed on ebay.
please help.

I personally believe all your keychains are fake. I don't think Coach ever came out with those designs. Your keychains are also missing the small Coach metal hangtag.

P.S. I live pretty close to Mt Laurel! :smile1:

jerseydani, all 6 of your keychain listings are fake.

Where did you get them? Were they ebay purchases? Can you get refunds?

Some are not Coach styles. Others are trying to look like Coach styles, but the colors, fonts, enameling and charms are wrong.

And the boxes are fake also.

You need to end your listings now. It's illegal to list an item that you aren't 100% certain is authentic. And clearly, you aren't sure they're authentic.

It's a seller's responsibility make sure that items are authentic before listing.

that pretty much ruined my night LOL
at least i know though and will take them off ebay immediately!
im glad someone told me about this site (no matter how rude she was).
anyway, thanks a lot for the input - ill see what i can do re: a refund but i was told they all came from a Coach outlet, so i am sure ill get burned on this deal. not to mention I have 30 more of these! UGH!!!!
