Absolutely not - if they can't supply clear close-ups of the hardware, the inside creed patch - a READABLE photo - and a clear close-up of the front of the bag, I wouldn't send anyone a dime for it. If they won't send more pics, hit the back button and walk away. There are THOUSANDS of Coach bags for sale and it won't take long to find one from a seller who shows clear photos of what you're buying.

Unless you absolutely trust the seeller 100 percent and others here have vouched for her, never trust one or two far-away photos. Unless you don't care about wasting your money.

Thanks so much for advise! How ever they are local so Im going to go see it tonight.. Any ideas of what to look for I know about the CCs and I know about the zippers and the stictch work making sure the Cs line up. Do you know anything else to look for? Thanks!

Thanks BeenBurned - this makes perfect sense, and was kind of the feeling I had. I definetely feel bad for the people bidding on those items though, I hope they figure it out when they get them and can get their money back.

Thanks for taking the time to explain this to me, much appreciated.

Although the four "definite" fakes are reportable, a good rule of thumb is that you shouldn't report any item unless you personally know it's fake, know why it's fake and you can describe those details in a report.

And although the seller's items which use stock photos are probably fake too, we really don't know that for sure since we aren't seeing pictures of the actual items.

So in this case, reporting (by you) probably isn't a good idea. You can't report based on a "bad feeling." We've seen too many instances where authentic listings were reported and/or pulled because they were styles that the reporter had never seen.

In cases like this, it's better to err on the side of caution and risk having a fake remain posted rather than having an honest seller's listing pulled.

As for reporting, ebay knows who does the reporting but as far as the seller is concerned, it's anonymous. If their listing is removed, the seller's notice comes from ebay and they don't know who reported or how many reports were received.

If what you know about the zippers means that you 'know' Coach zippers are "always" YKK, toss that idea right out of your head.

Zipper brand does NOT prove or disprove authenticity. Coach has used several different brands of zippers over the years so not all Coach bags have YKK. And the counterfeiters often used YKK.

As for Cs lining up, generally, that's true and on the bag you've shown, they are supposed to be centered and properly aligned on the front and back seams. But with curved bags, sometimes, there will be a slight misalignment at the bottom. Also, side seams don't often line up perfectly.

But as seems to be the "rule" with Coach, for every "rule," there are exceptions. Just be aware of them.

Thanks soooo much been burned thats super helpful!!

It's a Soho Mini Sig Small Hobo and if by Item number you mean style number, it's right in the creed photo, 6351. As for the name, maybe they don't remember it or never knew it - I doubt if many people remember the names of the bags or styles they bought 7 years ago. So I wouldn't worry if there's no name or item number.

BUT we need to see the seller's history. That style has been faked. We ask everyone in the very first post in this forum to include the seller ID if it's an aucton site like Ebay or Bonanzle, and a link to the listing. We need the same information for the other bag you asked about too.

I don't see any obvious problems in the photos but there's more to analyze than just photos to figure out if something's real or fake.

Sadly Its off Craigslist so there isint any selling history or anything like that. Thanks for the info.

It looks ok, but please ask the seller for a clear, closeup, readable picture of the creed if you're interested in bidding.
