They're both genuine but neither are from the 70s. The top one is from 1995 and the second from about 5 years before that, give or take a year either way. The creed on the fake black one doesn't resemble any genuine bag I've seen, they didn't even get the Coach logo right..

Hi everyone, first time posting on this site so here it goes!!!!!
Item: Coach barret sneakers

Comments: Are they authentic? Also, can I trust this seller even if they only have 1 selling feedback (5total, other 4 are as a buyer) on the site? If I pay through paypal do I have some sort of coverage if they don't send me my item? Lol, sorry 1st time posting like I mentioned and first time buyung something off ebay for more than 10 dollars.

I don't see any problems. If they don't send you the item, both PayPal and eBay will protect you. The seller is probably just trying to get rid of the shoes. Nothing to worry about. After all every seller starts with little feedback.

The sneakers are fine.

All sellers started at the beginning and most sellers are honest. (It's the problems you hear about.)


BTW, the white dust bag didn't come from the sneaker purchase. If you are expecting it, you might want to verify with the seller whether it's included.

No, it's just that if there were a seller involved, it's often helpful to look at the other listings (if there are any) and the seller's history.

Wait for other opinions on the wallet. From the couple of photos you posted, I don't see any obvious problems, but wallets are tricky. There are some ("good") fakes.

It's authentic.

Coach is inconsistent. Regarding smaller items such as pouches, swingpacks, wristlets, etc.:

  • Some of Coach's small items have creeds with a serial number.
  • Some of Coach's small items have creeds without a serial number.
  • Some of Coach's small items do NOT have creeds at all.
To add more confusion to the mix, sometimes the same style will vary as to existence or not of a creed, depending on the factory in which it was made.
