It looks genuine to me, but anything on a Coach bag including hardware, zippers, hangtags, price tags, linings,
anything - can be, and IS, faked.
Please post a photo of the creed patch if the seller sends one.
Hyacinth - thanks so much for replying. The seller says that it's difficult to get a photo of the creed. This makes me nervous. She says, "Please read my feedback if you are concerned about the authenticity of my bags." I'm not sure what to think...
Usually all she would need to do is just pull out the lining and take a pic. I know in the flat Duffles from those years the bottoms of the linings aren't sewn to the bag but I'm not sure if it's the same way with the flat-base Duffle Sacs. Did she at least tell you what the serial number is? If she sells Coach she should know that buyers want to see and verify the serial. And I've seen plenty of fakes listed by 100 percent Feedback holders.
I doubt if that style was faked and don't see any red flags, but the seller needs to remember that SHE has to satisfy the
buyer, not the other way round. Someone who's being asked to spend almost 200 dollars and buy a bag from halfway round the globe has a right to ask anything they want. Why does the seller bother to say
"Feel free to email me with any questions you may have" if she doesn't want to answer them?
It's up to you - I don't see any problems with the bag as long as you can verify that it's the style you've been looking for. Too bad the seller has such an unhelpful attitude.
