I am very sorry if the first link was not working, this is a repost...I think the first link was not working properly.

I was fairly confident on this one and I bid on it earlier in the day, could you please take a look and let me know if I made a mistake?

Item: "Coach beautiful leather domed satchel" (really a poorly listed cranberry/cherry Sabrina)
Listing # 130360468877

Comments: This looks too good to be true. I am an ebay virgin and this is the first thing that has ever made me seriously consider pulling out my credit card! The color looks off, but that could be the flash/lighting. Is it real? Thanks in advance!!!

It looks ok. The color is Cherry. The color probably looks off because of the flash/lighting.

A GINGER SABRINA PAINTED GOLD????

Seller: snowymtnmama

URL: http://cgi.ebay.com/COACH-12965-MAD...emQQptZUS_CSA_WH_Handbags?hash=item3efbf8b40b

I DO NOT WANT THIS BAG but I have seen it listed many times - now someone has bidded on it. It appears to be, perhaps, a ginger sabrina that was painted???

I just am uber confused and since I don't have a clue how to start a thread/posting I put it here.

If you scroll down to one of the last pics you can see the "paint" wearing off and it looks like ginger underneath.

This is outta pure curiousity since I've seen it listed several times - cannot be sure but I'm assuming by the same seller

Fishy. Edited - I looked up the style number, and I'm thinking it's real. That Sabrina apparently had flat handles.

Yes, Coach did make a mirrored metallic Sabrina but they were recalled because of flaking problems.

Really, I just think it looks so tacky but there is a bid on it so I guess to each's own ...

I asked the seller if it was authentic because I didn't see it listed as "100% authentic" as most sellers state & she flipped!

Actually it is known when sellers state "100% authentic", most of the times they are selling fakes.

Not entirely true since sellers of genuine bags may also state 100% authentic.

Whether a listing says "100% authentic" or doesn't say "100% authentic" shouldn't be used as a determination of authenticity. There are a lot of other things to look at in the listing.
