Comments: Is this new format helpful? Personally, I didn't like when I had to use this on other boards and feel like having a formal alienates newbies, especially if they don't use the format the first time and get scolded... I have been scolded elsewhere, so maybe why I personally don't like it.

The format is one already used by a lot of the subforums on tPF. The admins are trying ot make the authentication threads more uniform, hence the change. It is helpful for the authenticators as well as the posters to have things standardized for various reasons, one of them being the ease of searching. If an item has already been posted here for authenticatication but only a link is posted, it can be virtually impossible to search to see if it has already been asked about. This way people can find the item they want if it has already been posted, and authenticators will not have to waste their so-generously provided time on multiple postings of the same item.

It may take a bit for people to get used to, but time well spent IMHO.

I agree that members should not be scolded. A gentle nudge in the right direction is helpful for anyone who is just learning their way around here. :flowers:

Can tell me if this authentic before i buy them?
Checked the zipper and i has YKK sign.

Thanks..

You'll need a few more photos before anyone can tell you if this is definitely authentic since even fakes have YKK on the zipper sometimes. Please post photos of the inside and the creed at least. Photos of the back, straps, bottom, and the turnlock would also be helpful.

I have another question about the wallet I asked about. The seller just mailed me and said she just mailed the wallet and provided me with a tracking number, but it's coming up as accepted at post office on July 2 2009. I've never had this happen with a tracking number before. I'm not sure what to think of this. Any ideas?

Here is the listing, too. Still not sure about this. I've messaged her twice now and asked if the tags were attached and if gift receipt was included and she hasn't answered me on that, but just responded with that tracking number from July. :S

The post office tracking varies a lot depending on if the seller asked for delivery confirmation only or actual tracking. If they only requested delivery confirmation, the status may not be changed from accepted at post office until it is actually at your door.

Usually a few days after the acceptance date there is more information, like processed through sort facility. You just won and it has an old date and no more info? Maybe they gave you the wrong tracking number? But the one they gave you is odd - if something was "accepted" July 2nd (even if a different package) there should be more info by now.

Also, can anyone verify that this is authentic? Sorry for all the questions, but this will be my first coach purchase, as we don't have a Coach store where I live, and I just don't want to be burned.

She mailed back and said nothing about the tracking number showing up as July 2, but responded and said the tags are there but not attached to the wallet. I don't know, but I have a bad feeling about this wallet. I hope it's not some knock off from that site ioffer. :(

I would NOT bid on that keychain - it doesn't have the correct number of charms.
