Is this for real? I've occasionally seen this pop up on the bay but never verified whether it was authentic or not. The thing that got my nerves gangling on this particular auction was how the seller put quotation marks around the word Coach in her auction text (but that might just be my inner grammar police speaking).

It's not the kind of thing a counterfeiter's going to waste time, money and energy making when they can sell fake purses instead, is it?
And a lot of "educated" sellers don't have a clue about what "" around a word or phrase can imply and if they did, I doubt if they'd use them even as an inside joke.

All of this seller's Sabrinas and Juliannes have the wrong color stitching, wrong font and look of the creeds, fake hangtags, wrong rivets - just to name some of the incorrect details. Please report!
The Parker Hippie from the second seller looks fine.

I have a local person at my work that wants $140 for this bag. Any opinions? Good deal or no?
It appears to be ok, though it would help to see more pictures, such as the back, bottom, sides, and inside of the bag, and a closeup of the hangtags. Just make sure you get the same bag that's pictured.

It's called a Neo East-West Zip from 1998 and it's made of Neoprene, the same material as wetsuits.
bought this coach purse at a garage sale today for $12.50, it does has a minor scratch on the front. i'd like to know if its real!

I'm sorry the bag is fake. The font on the Coach logo, hangtag, and creed is wrong, cheap-looking lining, wrong hardware, the serial number is wrong. Style #5659 is a number commonly found on fakes. The actual bag that is style #5659 is the Scribble Mini Tote and should look like the picture I've attached. I would go back to where you bought this and ask for your money back and if the seller refuses, tell her that selling fakes is illegal. Good luck!
