It only has the leather coach tag on the outside, YKK on the side of the zipper pull and Made in China tag on the inside. The leather tag is genuine leather, I believe. I purchased Chanel, Gucci and LV from there and they were all proven to be auth. If this is auth, would it be possible to tell me how you can tell it is authentic, how much it would retail for if it was purchased directly from Coach and around what year it came out? Don't know if it's authentic or not, but if it is, I'd LOVE to find myself one somewhere. Enjoy it if it is real. (And I'm guessing 2007 on the release date - they did a bunch of legacy stripe bags, wallets and accessories that year - wish I'd been into Coach then). :D

I thought it was called Legacy stripes!! Yay for me. I usually purchase Fendi and Chanel so I don't know a lot about Coach...but I saw this and HAD to have it! Thank you for the compliment! It feels amazing...so silky! I hope it is too. I hate waiting for items to be authenticated...I am a nervous poodle until they say it is! :s

Didn't someone buy a large bag recently that came with one of these laptop sleeves in them? My old mind is not allowing me to remember who or what bag, but I do remember the laptop sleeve.....

They all look like authentic Coach briefcases and appear to be in good condition.

I don't know the actual "names" of them but #1, #3 and #4 are from the later 1980's<--->1993 and #2 is from 1996.

Would you please check this out, I've paid & recieved it, I can't get a better pic of the creed it's very faint the aspect that worries me is the metal hang tag is really flexible, never seen one like that before so don't know if she just got a bag one or what happened there. Also that the creed number is all run together, no space like we see on the current bags. I'm assuming this is a vintage bag being it was made in the us, the zippers are all ykk, the leather feels good & heavy & stitching is all nice & neat. Thanks so much!! Oh also if you know what it's called, thanks again!

Please wait for DemRam and Hyacinth on this one. I'm not feeling too confident though. I believe that if 6421 is a valid style, it should be a signature bag.

Is there a space or a dash between the date and factory code and the style number?

Can you get a clear picture of the creed? Try without using the flash and use the macro (tulip) setting. Play around with it.
