Authenticate This COACH

Hello. A college friend has offered to sell me a Coach purse and wristlet that she received as a gift (she doesn't like pink).

She's going to bring it to campus tomorrow for me to look at. I own several Coach purses already so I'm fairly confident that I'll be able to spot an obvious fake. Can anybody confirm as to whether this was a valid pattern and (possibly) how old a purse this is? THANK YOU in advance.

Hi, i just bought a madison gold hobo, and everything like the creed, stitching, dust bag, tag, even the tissue look authentic. However, i was browsing through madison wallets, and someone posted a close-up pic of the zipper with YKK engraving. As my hobo zipper does not have YKK engraving on its zipper head, does that place the authenticity of my bag in question?

I can't comment on authenticity without seeing pictures of your bag.

The YKK engraving is not always in the same place on the zipper. Check out the pictures in this post:

it just looks totally akward, stitching looks way off, and 3 hang tags are weird, I think chains are too long, and brass tag too small.

Any opinions? I'm not going to buy, but just thought I'd post this.:busted

Something looks off to me but the picture is so blurry it's hard to make out any details. Would like to see more pics and a picture of the creed.

If these are from ebay auctions, please post the links here. The creed is the patch on the inside of the bag that says, "THIS IS A COACH BAG" For bags, the creed will have the serial number on it. If a picture of the creed is not shown in the auction, please ask the seller for one. Smaller accessories such as pouches, wristlets, swingpacks, mini skinnies, etc. may or may not have a creed (and may or may not have a serial number on the creed.)
