Anything can be faked, even receipts. The seller in the auction above stole the pictures from this seller linked below. (Ringo4422 is a reputable, trusted seller who has had the misfortune of having her pictures stolen.)

Hey guys, i've been looking for a Heritage Stripe Pouch and since i live in the UK i have no access to Coach! So that only leaves ebay lol.. I've found 3 sellers that have the design i want so was wandering if someone could authenticate if any were authentic?

Hello all! I need your help! I have been wanting the Rose Legacy shoulder for a long time. I found one on ebay today but I don't know if it is real.

The reason I am questioning it is on the front pockets, you see there are 3 lines of stitching. I always thought the innermost line was not white but a darker shade? Have they managed to fake these beautiful babies?

The one on ebay is a recent made-for-factory version. The leather is different (and the lining) than the original 06-07 release (in the 2nd link you provided). The factory rose is also more of a coral shade than the original rose. It looks like the one I had, but wait for a real expert on that front. I just want to make sure you understand the differences.

Thanks, I did a little research too and I think you are exactly correct. I found this on ebay and I think this is the one I want. Too bad it is $400 more!

I have the same bag in Whiskey and I would be really upset if I got the factory rose and it was not as soft and such.

I personally thought the factory leather felt softer. The Vintage leather on the 06-07 is thicker, heavier, and I though felt harder. It may be good to go to an outlet and feel them if you can (if they are still there, maybe just in the black and brown, but good to compare the leather). You may like the factory raspberry color. It is not rose, but it is the most pink of the made-for-factory versions of this purse.
