Finally someone got an authentic bag at an estate sale! Congrats. Sorry but I don't have the name for it.Hi Folks! I'm hoping someone can tell me the name of this particular bag - I bought this yesterday at an estate sale, and I'm a glass collector not a handbag collector so I'm clueless. Seeing all the fakes mentioned I need to authenticate this one too, I guess, in order to not get myself in a pickle.
Buttery soft leather with butterfly leather applique, heavy leather strap and solid brass buckles, hot pink satin lining and the leather tag inside (see pics 4 and 5 below for the tag).

Congratulations! Not only is it genuine but it's also rare. I own that exact bag and LOVE it. It's called a Butterfly Applique Suede Duffle, style number 9263 and was only available in limited Coach stores in 2004 (most were actually made in late 2003 for the 2004 Spring season). Original retail was either $319 or $325, I don't remember exactly. The only negative is that the shoulder strap is EXTREMELY long and I don't think it can be doubled up to shorten it, it's strictly a cross-body bag and perfect on a tall or large woman who can never find a bag with a long enough strap. If you list it, be SURE to mention the strap length and give measurements.
But it's absolutely gorgeous and any butterfly lover would adore it. (There was a matching wristlet available too, style number 7840, see the pic below)

Holy cow, Hyacinth! Seriously??? I never have luck with things like this!! I am tickled pink!! I'll definitely take your advice and list mentioning the length of the strap and all the details! Plus, I won't be listing anywhere near that amazing price, so it should be a fun one to watch.

AFAIK those Panda Keyfobs were only available at the outlets, which is where I bought mine last week. It's completely genuine and sooooooo cute! In fact, I paid $39 for mine so she must have lucked out and bought during a sale.
Coach did a similar pair of pink and blue porcelain teddy bears a few years ago and those are very hard to find. The seller should have used "Panda" in the listing title, there are a lot of panda collectors who would love it.

If anyone asks, the strap could probably be shortened by a leather expert - it's actually 5 sections joined by rings and it might be possible to pop a few rivets and remove the sections between the center of the strap and the ends with the buckle holes. But I'm just guessing.
Personally I LOVE crossbody bags and this one is perfect for me.

It's authentic. The Bleecker Patent Delphine 12363 came in one size. The colors were Mahogany, Plum, and Blue. The strap is adjustable so you'd be able to wear it crossbody. There's also a metallic version with the same measurements. You may be thinking of the leather Delphine Hobo which was a Legacy Boutique exclusive and was $1000. That was an even larger size, but is limited and hard to find. There's a also Bleecker Sophie that is similar in style to the Bleecker Delphine, but is smaller. All of these can be worn crossbody.
I don't even know how I ended up finding it because I did a search for panda and it didn't come up again. I guess I lucked out on this one.
Thank you so much for clearing that up for me, I appreciate it!!! I couldn't figure out why the one I saw a celeb using was $1000 but the delphines on ebay were all $498. And the patent delphine didn't look as big as the more expensive version. Thanks again!!!
