Hi, can someone authenticate this coach bag?

It looks ok.

I did a search for the 'ID this Coach' thread but couldn't find it because search eliminated all words, lol. I'm hoping someone can identify this for me and give me any info. Thanks.

It looks like a cosmetic case. Found this information in an old (Fall 2002) catalog so correct me if I'm wrong! The name is "Hamptons Leather Large Wedge Cosmetic", style #7514, retail price $68, color Wine. 8"L x 4"H x 2"W. Also came in Black and Mahogany.

I know this station bag looks a little beat up, but I am considering using the strap for other purposes. Is this authentic? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=200344987245

Anyone have input about the strap? Would it be acceptable to use black shoe polish to touch-up the worn spots on the bag, or is that a big no-no?

Looks good to me.

I have another product that I use (instead of shoe polish). Let me go get the information for it.

I'll PM the information to you. I don't want to give any "lurkers" any ideas about touching up bags.

:smile1:

I have this style in a different color, and the details match mine. It looks authentic to me, but second opinions are always welcome. :smile1:
