Yeah, I noticed that too and it is worrisome. The seller does accept Paypal. I would only pay with a credit card through Paypal to be safe. I would pass on the auction if the seller doesn't respond.
Never mind, starry.... I just realized the seller only posts to Australia! DUH! And I just ran across something on the Dior forum which makes me a bit nervous. Thanks, for your help, tho. I have teenager purse hounds, I'll be back!!

Hi all, are any of these keychains authentic? Thanks!!

Isn't there supposed to be a dog-leash clip on that white leather tab right above the patch, the one with the 2 small brass rings? Like on this one:

Is this a bag that you're thinking of buying or do you already own it?

I bought it off of ebay and have received it. Yes, it is missing the dogleash clip, the seller stated that in the listing. I did have it authenticated here, being I have not seen a patch that large I was kind of concerned. I am thinking about taking it to coach to have the clip repaired, and wanted to be 100% sure it is authentic before doing so! Thank you for looking it over!

Please, before you send it in to Coach, ask the manager of the local Coach store to take a really good look at those two tabs. The Dog-leash clip isn't simply missing, it was never on the bag. The tab above the creed patch where the clip is supposed to go should NOT have those two small brass rings on it, the only hardware that should be on that side is the dog-leash clip itself. Look at the auction link for a similar bag that I posted in my previous reply. The dog-leash clip is attatched directly to the leather tab and isn't removeable so there's no need for two small brass O-rings on the same tab as the clip.

Did the seller say if she bought it like that? I can't imagine Coach letting a bag with such an obvious mistake even leave the factory. Can you post the auction number?

Remember, if you send it to Coach and they decide that it's not genuine, they won't send it back to you, so please have a Coach store manager take a good close look at it.

Has this bag been discussed before?

I'm thinking about taking the plunge..

Please DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

This is someone who's sold fake bags before and was recently questioned by a poster I know as to why his bags didn't have price tags or hangtags. His answer was
"Thanks for asking.
I am sorry, I dont know why either, I bought these bags from a Coach dealer in Japan. There was no any tags when I bought it and I think that is why he give me good price."

A Coach dealer in Japan is selling bags with no tags??? And since when does Coach sell to independent dealers? ESPECIALLY to dealers who remove the tags and reduce the price???

Anyone selling new "Coach" bags with NO price tags and NO hangtags should be assumed to be selling fakes (or possibly stolen merchandise, but fakes are much more likely) until proven otherwise.
