Coach puts cell phone pockets inside their bag now. They made cell phone holders about 4 or 5 years ago but some of them are too big for today's phones.

Just for the record, they never made older leather bags with attached leather cell phone holders on the side. That's always the sign of a fake.

Thanks Hyacinth! My neighbor will have a heart attack when I give it to her though LOL! she has all coach bags and was so bummed cause she had to have a dooney cell holder LOL!

Hi everyone! I need help! I just bought a Coach bag from eBay and it looked real until I saw some things.

C's not aligned at the bottom: Is it a must??? Image below:

The creed:

And the stitching. Must it be the same stitching throughout the WHOLE BAG or does it just have to be generally even?

This bag has a brown stitching in the middle, and white stitching on top... the white stitches on the top row are also thinner than the white stitches on the 2nd row.

Any help would be appreciated, please! I want to file a return (if it's fake) asap!

Style #11096 is the Signature Stripe Hobo, a small bag that's almost a demi size. I've owned this same bag in the same Brown/Bronze color. It would help if you could post a picture of the entire bag, but the details in your pics look correct. This is the way the bottom is supposed to look. In many of the sig stripe bags, the C's on the bottom don't always line up. The stitching is correct also. Your bag looks fine.

Thanks for your reply! I wasn't aware that C's on the bottom don't always line up; many webpages on authenticating Coach seem to imply otherwise.

Your bag is authentic. Congrats!

As we've said here many times, many of those online guides to authenticating Coach are either out of date or have misinformation.
