Good mornin' ladies!! Can you believe it's been several days since I've posted something for authentification??? LOL! Here's yet another of my must-haves....can someone please help authenticate? Thanks a million!!

i'd say it's a fake...from what i've learned from fellow coachies, coach does not make signature bags with sig lining. the seller states there is the c pattern inside.

i saw this exact same bag on some girl the other night at a local kmart except it was brown/khaki with gold trim. i dunno what the name of the bag is but i was trying to get a good look to see if it was real or not....as i was standing behind her at the register i could see she had the top zipper open and saw the signature lining, right then i was like okay, it's fake.

I am thrilled it said it was made in The United states on the inside creed. That it was Cowhide.

I cant decifer the reg number it is H1D-9715. I am used to being able to tell the year from the reg.

The middle number or numbers in the first half of the serial number show the year it was made. Post #34 in the Answers to Authenticity Questions thread tells you how to interpret the numbers.

I don't really know much about the bag, the Companion Flap isn't even in my old catalogs. The Legacy line from around 2000-2001 were usually very clean, classic designs, used lightweight leathers with Coach logo linings and usually were available in Red, Mahogany or Black smooth leather with brass trim and also Black with nickle hardware. Some Legacy West styles also came in Nubuc, in Chamois, Vicuna (like a darker British Tan) or Chestnut (medium brown) all with brass hardware. The Legacy and Legacy West bags came in almost every size and style possible, from the big Duffle Sac styles to a backpack to Demis, Flap bags, Hobos, Top Zips - you name it.

That's really all I can tell you. Enjoy your "new" bag!

Hey guys! I just want your opinion. I've seen tons of these on ebay and that scummy site ioffer and I just HAD to buy one to see what the deal was. The fabric feels funky and it doesn't feel as "solid" as a real coach wallet. Plus the leather has a weird smell, but maybe that's just me... it has all the hallmarks of a real COACH and if I didn't know that it was fake, I probably could be duped! I only paid $40 for it knowing it was a fake, but I think I'll get good use out of it anyway lol

It came in brown coach box with care booklets and price tag, all wrapped in coach tissue paper! I feel bad for the people who think they're getting a real wallet. This should be stopped!!! :tdown:
