I'd like to see a picture of the creed. If you have a link to the auction, that would be helpful too, but I understand if you don't want to post it here.
its actually from a craigslist listing. i asked for a creed, but she said she doesn't have access to a camera anymore. i think everything checks out on the outside.
There are no obvious red flags from the pictures. If you see the bag in person, you can check out the creed and the bag to see if it looks ok.
thats about what i was thinking. i've seen the UGLY pleated satchel fakes and they were horrid, but wasnt aware of any 'close' fakes. hopefully there wont be any. but gotta check! thanks starry!!
Both look ok to me, but I'm not a vintage Coach expert. Maybe some vintage owners can chime in on these.

I'm sure you could tell from the pics that the price tag is not attached, but I just wanted to point that out. I read your other thread about the Craigslist seller. I'm not sure what to think about it. That's quite some story. I hope that she's telling the truth, but it's also good to be wary. There are scammers (I'm not saying she is one, but they are out there), who do 'bait and switches' - a real bag will be pictured, but they'll send you a fake. It would be better if you could see the bag in person before any money changes hands, to be safe.

Looks good. The seller's other items also look good.
BTW, I responded in your thread about the bag you received.
Authentic. The Clay Gigis are notorious for showing a lot of scratches. Note that there is some damage on the handle.

I'd like to see a picture of the creed on this. Just so you know, the "bonus" Coach keychains this seller is including in many of her auctions is fake, including the one on this auction.
