Yeah I got mine at TJ Maxx and no case/cloth. They gave me one in the boutique when I went to use my May PCE though. I was very pleasantly surprised.

The only thing I can think of is if they don't always list with the box and paper, or some people may opt out of having those sent with the item to save on shipping - so they end up with excess? - Or - If the seller does a lot of returns they keep the boxes and paper? - Also, when buying a bag online, the purse came with A TON of paper, it was stuffed Full of sig. tissue paper - probably a good 15 sheets worth is my guess. I was keeping it beacuse it's pretty, but then threw it all out after about 2 months not knowing what the heck I'd do with it all, as it would be tacky to use for future gifts that are not Coach.

He says the paper is "New" though, which should mean unused and unwrinkled. I'd still be leery of that seller even if he's just buying the paper at iOffer, since wherever he's getting it, it's likely to be fake.

I second that, Hyacinth is right I have seen anything from paper to gift boxes and even fake creeds floating around. especially on *offer. you should never have "new"coach paper only what comes in the bags and that isn't new! Hyacinth is very good with her authenticating and her hunches. I would steer clear completely.

Hey, I'm not saying she's wrong. I'm just saying that there are ways they could have excess paper around. She's probably right, and even the paper itself is fake, which would be sad, but I'm sure that this happens all the time.

Heck, before I decided to jump into my first Tiffany necklace and bracelet, I looked on ebay, and people who were selling obvious fakes but had "authentic" reciepts, which I read later on that people fake those all the time too. Needless to say I just went and bought my beauties at the Tiffany & Co. store in the mall.

thank you so much, everyone who replied! yup, it does bug me that she has stacks of coach tissue for sale, even though her caprice might be authentic. i'll go and chew on it some more...

by the way, Hyacinth, remember the seller you commented on with the poor feedback when i asked about several pouches? despite her good communication with me at the start, she has indeed disappeared and i've filed a dispute. they will rule in my favour in 2 days. so, you were right! i do think that something did happen to her, because all the negative feedbacks were in the same 2 week time-frame and everything was fine prior to that. oh well... no big loss except for the effort in bidding!
