I have been reading up on how to spot a fake Coach. I think I am getting better at it. The first time I looked at some of the pics in the fake thread I couldn't tell because I hadn't read up yet. After doing my homeowrk I could see much more easily why everyone was saying they were fakes. It is far far more obvious when you know what to look for in them.

Anyhow, so to that end I won this ebay item and I think it is real (at least to my eyes). Also the seller has good feedback. Would someone verify?

One other question for this neophyte. My above auction says it is a Swingpack.

Another auction says it is a Soho Drawstring.

Which is it? Either way to my eyes they both seem real. I hope I am right on mine!

TIA!

im really depserate for a response, it has 4 mins left!!!

Never mind it's gone now.

It's called a Station Bag and there are always some listed on Ebay. You can search (use the Advanced Search - Check Titles AND Descriptions feature) for Coach Station Bag or Coach 5130 which is the style number. In fact, Coach has made that bag for almost 30 years and still makes it so there are always some available. Just ask here before bidding as there are some fakes of it that come up for sale.

Anyway you're better off looking for one that hasn't had a knot tied in the strap. That can permanently mark or damage the leather.

They're both ok, and it's a Soho MiniSig Small Drawstring which is about the size of a Swingpack. Since the second seller is extremely knowledgable about Coach and his bag still seems to have the price tag it's a safe guess that he used the name on the price tag in the listing.

The straps on the first one look fine compared to the others listed on Ebay:

The second one is also genuine but seems to have some condition problems. If the previous dry cleaning didn't get the spots off the bottom, I doubt if anything will. And the seller says a button is missing on each side? I'm not sure what buttons she's referring to, but the bag may be a bit more used than you're looking for. Maybe you could ask her for close-ups of the places where the buttons are missing?
