she edited this later as u can see and mentioned the strap thing. ill write asking for a close up of the creed. at least if its a fake, she says i can return it right?? :confused1:

Hmmm... the picture of the creed is throwing me off, since it doesn't look the the creeds on other bags in this style and color made in this year. Could you also ask for a picture of the ring on the side of the bag (where the handle attaches to the bag). Also, ask for a picture of the bottom of the bag and the side of the bag, and of the hangtag. Oh, and also, a picture of the strap as it is currently. In the auction, she says that the buyer doesn't need to pay until the strap arrives. Have you paid already? If you haven't, I would advise that you hold off until you get the additional pictures. I think the honest thing for the seller to have done is to have cancelled the auction and then relisted the bag once she has the strap, rather than make the buyer wait for the strap to arrive. She says that she "was told" that it would arrive in a week, but as we all know, JAX isn't exactly very reliable when it comes to estimating the time it takes for replacement parts to arrive. It could takes weeks or it could never arrive at all. I think you need to take all of this into consideration when deciding if you want to go ahead with this purchase.

i havent even had the the chance to write the buyer yet but she wrote me with this, "[FONT=arial,sans-serif]
Ok, I called Coach again! I got a gentleman that looked up my info and told me there was no order processed because they do not make a replacement strap for this bag, that's the first thing. Long story short, the girl that took my call did not get my phone number and apparently they sent me a letter, which I have not gotten. He said they have no way to tell me over the phone if it's real or not, the serial came up the same model that it is but he said I would have to call their legal dept & disclose who I bought it from, etc. Yikes! Sounds official. My other choice is to take it into Coach and have one of the girls look at it, but she will be judging from her own experience (probably less than mine to be honest, I've met those girls, they're barely in their 20's) SOOOO at this point I am going to call it and give you a refund because the strap is coming apart so I guess I will need to take it to a leather shop??? I have no idea at this point what to think. He said the same style bags will have different serial numbers (the beginning numbers only) depending on the year they were manufactured. This was made from 05-06, hence the A05 on tag, I feel very uneasy about this so I am going to refund you and worry about this on my own. I am so very sorry, I don't even know what to say. I am going to call the person I bought it from and see what she has to say. But it's not right and I am pretty upset, I hope you find another bag and I hope there are no hard feelings?"

i thought that was very sweet to go through all of this and very honest. im happy!

Really????? I love this style and have wished for them to bring it back. I have been to my outlet a LOT lately and have never seen this. What other colors do they have? Can I ask what state you live in or where you have seen them? I am hoping that mine will be getting them. Do you think I could call and ask? I am so excited!

 This is authentic. It's from the outlet.

Hi, and how about this one too? Not sure how it can be new with tags since they haven't made this style for a few years. Thanks for any help!

I'm so glad she was honest about it! Glad it all worked out for you! :smile1:

Actually, I was saying that this particular bag in the auction was bought from the outlet (see the bullseye stamp on the creed). I don't know how long ago it was purchased. I haven't personally seen this bag at my outlet. There's no harm in calling your outlet and asking, though! Good luck!

haha.. thank you! After I realized that I immediately edited my post. Are they available anywhere, do you know? Never in my life did I see a demi like that one. Especially with the zipper in the center and all. :sweatdrop:

I love this style too! I agree, it's adorable! There are a lot of sig stripe items at the outlets right now, so you might want to check there and see if one turns up. You might also want to call JAX and see if they still have any available.

Thank you so much for the help! I didn't even notice the bullseye. I did call my outlet and they do not have them. Must have been bought a while ago I would say. Thanks again for the help!

Can someone help me authenticate this tote? I am thrown by the style number. Could it be different in Canada?

I can find the denim totes 11179 and 11180 in the drilldown, but not a 11192.

She also lists the MSRP at $298

Here's the link to the auction:

 Yikes, this is VERY fake, as are all of this seller's items. Please don't bid on this!
