Hi! I'm new here and new to buying designer bags on ebay. I just recently bought this Coach messenger off eBay and I was wondering if someone could authenticate it for me. I have no reason to think its not authentic...but I'm really surprised at how convincing some of the fakes are, which definitely makes me wonder. Hi ladies! My first Coach bag arrived in the mail today and OMG I'm so excited! I thought I'd check to see if it's real... I think it's bee-u-ti-ful even if it's not, and ohhhhh the smell of the leather... lol, that's the thing I like the best about my Coach gloves, I spend my time sniffing my hands, LOL.

I know the creed is blurry... I couldn't seem to get a better shot, and my hand kept creating a shadow. The number on the end of the creed is 10951.

Can you please provide your opinion before I leave feedback? Thank you!!!

Are you kidding? There are THOUSANDS of second-hand Coach fakes on Ebay, almost as many as new ones.

But that particular seller has never been known to sell fakes and is on my personal Trusted Sellers list. She's one of the best. Good luck!

Thanks Hyacinth! And gosh, I never knew there were so many 2nd-hand Coach fakes out there.

Btw, can somebody tell me if there are any threads for authenticating Longchamp bags? I can't seem to find one, so was wondering if there're really none at this point in time.

Thanks loads Hyacinth! I usually buy from her and the rest of the items are ok, but i've got no experience at all with the mini 'c's so was a little worried. It was just a niggling doubt i needed to put at rest.

It is really difficult to get pics from sellers on Ebay. Sometimes I wonder if it's becos the bag is not authentic or simply becos they cannot be bothered. I have had sellers tell me the pics posted online are the best they can do. And now the latest: "I don't have time for pics"...sigh.

I can honestly say that this thread has made me a better seller on ebay. I don't sell often, and I only sell bags that I bought for myself for my personal collection that for whatever reason didn't work out, but after reading this thread and seeing what people ask for and need to see to authenticate bags, I take as many pictures as possible, make sure they are clear and large enough to see, and always use supersize with my auctions so that people can be sure of what they are getting.

You could write back "Then I don't have time to bid - my money is as important to me as your time is to you."

If they can't be bothered, to he!! with them, there are plenty of other sellers who are more than happy to put in a little extra effort in order to earn your business.

Your bag looks good, I remember seeing those in the outlets last year.You got a good deal on it too.
