It looks authentic.

Color transfer is really hard to get rid of. On top of that, this is vachetta, which is really hard to clean. There is a product on Amazon that is supposed to get rid of color transfer. I've never tried it so I don't know if it works and I don't know if it would work on vachetta. I've cleaned vachetta with vinegar and a magic eraser. It works on some stains but not all, generally lightening it a bit. If you bought it, it would be a risk as there is a good chance you wouldn't be able to get rid of the stain.

Thank you so much. You have helped me with a decision. I will pass on the bag as I don't want to get a bag I can't clean.

You're welcome! I think you made the right decision. A better bag will come along.
Thank you!

Is the made in china stamp normal then?
You're welcome! Yes, it is normal. I have the same keychain that I bought directly from a Coach store and it looks identical. The seller you purchased from has a reputation of selling authentic Coach items.

The seller of this purse claims it is authentic and was purchased at the Coach Outlet store. The seam in the front doesn't match up and I see so many other things that stick out. This is the only photo that is posted. I hate seeing fake Coach bags selling on Facebook for sale groups. Am I right this bag looks like it's not authentic?

Yes, you're right. This kind of signature pattern always has the design matched at the seam.

Thank you whateve. :)
Feel free to refer Teresa Niemeyer here. :smile1:

Check inside the bag down around the bottom or in the inside pocket around the bottom seam for a small white fabric tag with 2 rows of numbers and letters on it. That's the replacement for the old creed and serial number stamp. Take a photo if you can, the fabric can usually be loosened enough to take a photo of the tag.

BTW, I added the HTML to your URLs to make them clickable links. Unfortunately the 4th and 5th links aren't working for me either way.

I dont see any tags on the inside of the purse besides the made in china tag... Its just all blue silk on the inside... Does this make it fake?

No, it doesn't make it fake. Did you look inside the pockets and feel along the seams? It's probably genuine but without a style number I don't have ANY idea what style it is.

I agree that there's probably a tag buried deep inside the pocket in one of the lower corners. Sometimes you'll need to turn the pocket inside-out to get at it.
