It's the creed. The plant code G has a distinctive look that this one is missing. It also appears that the grommets on the strap are silver even though the rest of the hardware is brass.

No question about it, it's fake. Don't listen to people who don't know what they are talking about.

Just so you know, the existence or lack of markings on the backs of charms has little to do with authenticity. Some charms have certain markings while others don't have them.

Every style has to be judged based on the style and how it's supposed to be constructed and marked.

I’d love to know if this bag is authentic, and if so, more about it! I found it at Goodwill in Lubbock, TX. It’s about 14x18. I don't think the handles are real leather.
