Thank you and be safe!

Got it! I did already post the listing with the bag pics and link and it was authenticated here. The other bag by the same seller was determined not authentic and seeing the font variations got me stressed and worried. Mainly bc i already purchased the bag deemed authentic😅

These were the pics and link from an earlier post

Hi All - sorry in advance if I am posting wrong - never done this before.

I have a newer style coach I found thrifting and I’ve never seen this style code with the “FQ” and can’t find other examples of it… was hoping you could help.

Black Leather Tote
C1823-FQ57131
12”x19”x7.5”

Thank you again for your time
Trying to get a response on the authenticity of this bag. It came with a COA, but has an unusual style number. I appreciate the response to that, but can someone weigh in on their thoughts of authenticity?

I understand what you guys do is all voluntary and on your own time. If it is unlikely that anyone would like to look at my photos to confirm, please just let me know so I can stop bumping my thread.

Again, much appreciation and thanks.

I received a Willis (or maybe "Willis" if it's fake) bag from someone who said they purchased it at a resale shop about fifteen years ago. I'm pretty sure it's a fake because while the number is imprinted, it has faded and from what I can tell, it looks like it starts with a W (maybe W5S-9927) which would not correspond with any month (unless there are any exceptions anyone is aware of). It's a really nice and sturdy bag either way, but hoping someone can help with authentication. I took a bunch of photos and can add more if needed. Hard to get a good photo of the creed but it reads: This is a Coach bag. It is made out of a completely natural glove tanned cowhide. The scars, scratches, veins and wrinkles are natural markings characteristic of full-grain leathers. Made in the United States." Not sure why my photos uploaded side ways. :/ Thank you in advance for your time and help!

Your suspicions are correct. It's fake.

I don't think you're being ignored. I suspect that no one has seen an FQ bag either and cannot confirm or deny authenticity.

@houseof999? Do you have an opinion?

I'm curious @lonelyunicorn9211. Who is the COA from?

Hello Authenticators! I know it’s busy this week. At your convenience, would you please have a look at this one? Thanks so much. 🙏

Item: 9791 Large Daypack Black
Seller: shopgoodwill
Link:https://shopgoodwill.com/item/222183190
Comments: Even with their COA, I appreciate your review.
ETA: Adding slightly better pic of creed from COA. Haven’t paid for item yet. At first I thought number started “HID” and I cussed inwardly. But I think it’s actually a “1” like in the 9791. Do you agree?

Thank you!

It's fine.

Looking at the creed, maybe it says F057131, not FQ. If you do a google search, F057131 pulls up similar looking bags for sale in Japan.
