That is not the same bag as the one in your initial post. You can plainly see the placement of the metallic horse and carriage logo is different on the front of the bag.

hey could someone help me authenticate this coach chambray teri shoulder bag. thank you! i suspected it was a fake when i noticed that the stitching was blue instead of the original white. but when i asked the seller she claimed that she replaced the parts with white stitching as she didnt like the white and preferred it blue so now im not too sure anymore😭 she also mentioned that she bought in the the san francisco outlet store. any help would be much appreciated!

Seller
Discount for >3 items!
@rosecole

Even before reading @AGGRAVATING CATCH 's post, I didn't have a good feeling about the bag nor the other Coach (and Chanel) listings from the seller. That the seller is lying and showing a different bag coupled with the highly faked style, the fact that nearly every Teri bag I found is from Asian sellers who are notorious for having close fakes, I recommend against that bag.

And if you bought it, return it for a refund. I don't believe it's an outlet purchase, I don't believe the seller restitched it because she didn't like the original thread color and I'm 99.999% sure it's fake.

ohhh man okayy, thank you so much! Ill try to return it later today.

The bag is 13x12 approximately. I read where the p at the end of the creed meant that it might not have been produced for public consumption.
For future requests, please be sure to read the yellow highlighted post at the top of each page of the thread and include the additional info required.

Your bag looks fine.

What we've surmised is that the "P" indicates a pilot bag, a style that Coach may have made as a test model to see if it caught on. If the style made it to production, changes to details may have been made so the pilot may differ slightly from the final production version.

I found a bag that looks like a crossbody bag. The only markings say Bonnie Cashin for Meyers. It doesn’t have any external pockets. No turn lock detail. Please help.

AUTHENTICATE This COACH

Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread.

Note: The PurseForum requests that only members with an extensive knowledge of the brand and authenticating who have over 500 posts participate as authenticators in this AT thread. The moderators reserve the right to remove authentications that do not meet these requirements.

Please follow the following rules:

  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

    Item:
    Listing number:
    Seller:
    Link:
    Comments:

  • If the bag in question is not on an auction site, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
    Link (if available):
Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)
    • Please be sure to include a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number from inside the bag or accessory if there is one, and the bag's measurements when the bag is an older or vintage leather Coach.
    • Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.

  • Do NOT PM an authenticator or moderator to request authentication. Any and all such requests should be posted in this thread.

Bonnie Cashin designed bags for more than one company, one of which was Meyers. I've never seen it faked however it's not a BC for Coach bag although the style is similar.

Hi!
This is (hopefully) a 7542 Coach Hamptons Leather Buckle Shoulder Bag. Bought from Goodwill. Thank you!!

This purse is 12x13. I tead on another site that a creed that ends in a P that the purse may have not gone into production.
A P means pilot bag. Usually it means a smaller than normal amount were produced and released to stores to see how well they sell. If they sold well, they made more, without the P in the creed. It's not the same as a sample bag, which may never get produced.
