It's authentic. It's normal to have some overlapping of stitches at the beginning and ending of a stitching line.

Fine! Thanks for asking! We are starting to have a bit of colder weather now and I was so proud of him this morning when I saw him in the doorway of his heated house. He doesn't use it in the summer and every year around this time I worry we'll have to drag him into the house to make him remember to use it. He's about 150 pounds so dragging him isn't easy!

I had a vision of one of our resident Coach experts dragging a 150 lb. tortoise through the yard, that would be a sight to behold! I'd use a furniture dolly & save your back.
