I've just purchased a vintage Coach 9060 and would like to authenticate it please. Details below.

Comments: I know that the serial numbers are hand stamped but see that the 9 and the P have a larger gap between them than the other digits. Is this a cause for concern?

Hey there!

Would you please have a look at two bags from the same seller (sandrlev-0)? For the first, I assume based on the nonsense serial number that it’s fake, but I don’t know about the second. Including screenshots of the creed photos here for posterity for when the eBay links are no longer active.

The first one is fake. I (literally) just reported 3 other fakes listed by sandrlev-0. Off to list this 4th one.

The brown one (second) is okay.

It's authentic but not vintage and not "before 2000" as described by AudreyInStyle. The bag was made in 2013 so it won't be vintage for another 9 years.

It's authentic. It's Soho - soho buckles are horseshoe shaped.

Hi Authenticators - wondering if you’d be able to authenticate this bag? I’ve heard that newer ones bring certain challenges with them (not sure how true that is, but still…). It’s a Red White and Blue find and seems too good to be true.

Thanks, @BeenBurned. It looks like they actually took the black one down. I reported it earlier today and received a notification from eBay pretty quickly that ‘a customer service agent’ has reviewed it and ‘didn’t find the listing to be in violation of [their] policy.’

That was actually exactly what I suspected they’d say, since it’s actually been the answer I’ve gotten to any report I’ve made for a couple months now. (I generally just report the most basic/obvious fakes, like the TN-serial number ones, the ones with the SCRTCHES typo, the ones with 5 digit serial numbers ‘made in Korea’, etc.).

eBay used to take them down pretty fast, but none of the fakes I’ve reported have been taken down in a good long while. I wonder why that is.

I'm not sure about the first one. The logo is in the wrong place to be #6990.

The double lipstick case is #4736.

I ordered it from Privé by Zalando, it came without a dustbag. The main zip does not have YKK written on it, but the inner pocket's zip is written IDEAL.
Inside: Made in Myanmar.
