Hello folks, I have found a German offer for a lovely bag. Your opinions are appreciated!

item: Coach Damen Tasche Bordeaux NEU Leder Handtasche Ledertasche, Shopper Groß
seller and site where listed: Preloved BAZAAR on eBay
link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1350323755...E3eQn2oTbq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Comments: do you think it’s genuine and worth the price?

Thank you again for taking the time.

I'm not seeing the pictures we need for authenticating. Read the post in yellow at the top of this page.

I apologize! I requested the additional pictures and this is what the seller sent me:

According to an online guide I found, the serial code is longer, may it be because it was made in February 2022?

Thank you in advance!
I'd like to see the made in tag for this bag.

I was only able to find one other bag of this style with a "202" plant code that claims to be made in the Philippines, something I've not seen before. Other Filippino-made bags have other plant code(s).

Although I don't see any obvious problems, I just can't assure you that it's genuine.

Other opinions are welcome.

Good afternoon! Can someone take a look at this coin purse for authenticity? It looks a bit similar to the International Coin Purse, but I'm not sure if it's actually identical. Any info to share on this one if authentic? If authentic, would it be vintage yet? Many thanks!

It looks good.

I don't think it's an international coin case (4849) unless Coach made more than one style and called it the same name.

This listing shows what 4849 looks like:

Thank you. The one I asked about looks a bit chunkier than the #4849 International Coin case.
Also, thanks for the reference listing.

It looks good. I'm surprised no one else bid.
Thank you! Ahh I was getting worried that maybe people weren’t bidding because they thought it wasn’t authentic, but now I’m guessing it was just because the pictures aren’t that great.

I love my Navy Blue Copely for work but I have noticed that sometimes I baby it. The Biltmore at this price and in a classic color will be a bag that I can actually use and enjoy on a daily basis without worrying too much, so I’m really excited!

Fortunately for the seller, she started the opening bid at a reasonable price she's willing to sell for.

Most auctions just don't get the bidding frenzy of years gone by. Buyers are so used to buying items and receiving them quickly (thank you, Amazon) and they just don't want to wait a week (or 10 days) to find out if they've won then have to wait several more days for shipping and delivery.

Congrats on your win!

Thank you for your honesty! I agree, it is a bit tricky. I requested an additional pic of the made in tag and am awaiting seller’s response.

Posting an update and a warning for everyone who would be interested in buying a Market Tote. After hours of digging, I do believe Market Totes get replicated heavily. The code “H22202” can only be found on Japanese websites, and I also found multiple other Malaysian, Thai and Taiwanese shops selling the style. Either it’s grey market or topgrade fake. I also believe that the authentic Market Totes have the creed in gold font. The leather is also less shiny. IMG_8123.jpeg

I'm glad you did research that I've been doing for several years and your conclusion is the same as mine.

I started a thread over 5 years ago about the ungodly number of close fakes coming from Japanese sellers:

Since that time, the rabbit hole has gone so deep with so many twists and turns that I've stopped adding sellers to it because it's like whack-a-mole -- report and get 1 listing removed and 2 other sellers list the same POS.

The fakes are extremely close and quite time-consuming to authenticate through pictures. Many also include fake packaging, fake tags, fake receipts.

I strongly recommend against buying ANY NWT or NWOT items from Japanese sellers OR from domestic sellers who may have purchased their items from Japan.

And it's not just market totes. Any items that are listed as "collaborations" need caution -- Nasa, Disney, Peanuts, Jean-Michel Basquiat, etc. This includes bags, wallets, keychains and other accessories and clothing items.

Oh, and we can't depend on the Japanese sellers selling genuine vintage Coach either. The have been hundreds (or thousands?) of Korean-made "vintage" fakes being peddled and if not reported and removed in time, they get sold.

BEWARE -- CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Hello, can someone please authenticate this bag please? Purchased from an estate sale.thanks
