There are way more things wrong than the misspelled words on the creed.

The bag isn't even a Coach style!

I'm surprised that happened. I've seen this fake, or others that are similar, often.

I don't shop that often, the color caught my eye. I feel bad for the person who bought it.
Although the listing had ended with a purchase, it was subsequently removed.

Sellers get notification when their items are removed and they get a copy of the counterfeit item policy.

AFAIK, buyers are also notified when an item is removed and although they aren't given specifics, there's an implication that there was a violation. I'd like to think that it might cause some buyers to question their purchase, question authenticity and if found to be fake, opening a case for a NAD (not as described) claim.

Comments: the coach in the creed has a “reserved” R next to it and under the numbers it says “coach bag registration number”. Have not seen that before. Thanks for your help!

Hi Authenticators,
Client brought this in this morning. Wondering what it is (if authentic…)? Pretty popular style, just not sure what this one is called…?

Thank you for your help.

Genuine. I'm not sure about the name but it sounds right.

We need to know where it was purchased from, and a link to the listing page if it was bought from an internet site. See the list of needed information at the top of the page. Thanks!

It's authentic. For a few years, Coach used the glued-on numbers along with the registered trademark symbol. It was probably made in the early 80s.

Hi Hyacinth, I don’t know - it’s not my bag (it was brought in for cleaning). I’ll reach out to my client to ask and get back to you ASAP! TY!

It's authentic. The lines above and below numbers are called overstamping marks. It happened when the number stamper was applied with extra force or was rolled a bit. The numbers were on a roll so sometimes the bottoms of the numbers at the top or the top of the numbers at the bottom also got stamped. There are fakes that have fake stamping marks so you have to be careful.

You are knowledgeable and kind.
Thanm you very much!!
