  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read

Hello again! Might I ask you to have a look a couple alleged Skinny Cases from eBay? They were at a price I was pretty happy with, but at least the tan one was more than a little suspect to me (the ticking, the size, the lack of outside stamp, the unimpressive stitching, the overall feel of the leather, etc), though I’m obviously no expert and perhaps am unaware of older versions of the style.

I shared my concerns with the seller before shipping and she insisted that both were authentic because the lady she gets them from only buys authentic. Obviously that & a dollar won’t even get me something from Dollar Tree anymore, but I was too busy to raise a ruckus at the time and figured if there was an issue I’d deal with it after. If only the red one is legit, the purchase may still be pretty worthwhile anyway. Let me know what you think—and thanks!

I've got a bag I (hopefully) scored from a yard sale to ask for your expertise on! TYSM!

Item: Soho Belted Buckle Bag in Brown #4156
Where purchased: Yard sale
Comments: some of the stitching seems to have come undone, but it looks fixable.
Pics have measuring tape included for measurements.

It's authentic. I saw someone carrying one of these a few days ago. It was exciting seeing it out in the wild but for some reason the woman left it unsnapped.

I don't believe the tan one was made by Coach. The red one is probably okay.

It's authentic. It is against forum rules to post your own listing, even if it isn't for sale. In the future, just post your pictures and explain that it is in your possession. We will want to know where it was obtained.

For the tan one, is there any "Coach" marking on it anywhere?
