Please follow the following requests:

The bag is fine. I think it's an optical illusion that makes the "k" in markings look like an "x."

If that's actually the serial number, then it's fake. One of the production codes is not valid.

The same fake serial number has been found in fake Taft Bags dating back to at least 2010.

The creed photo is from a genuine Small Sidepack made in 1997. It replaced the Scooter Bag.

Beenburned looked at the same case recently from a different seller and determined it to be authentic, so I'm hoping this one is too. It's authentic. Back when it was made, they didn't use computers to make sure that all parts came out exactly the same color. Different types of leather took the dye differently, which is why the trim doesn't match the bag exactly. There is also an anomaly in the creed number - where the dash should be, there is another digit. It's a compartment bag #9850 made late 80s or early 90s.
