Hello authenticators! I just won this on eBay but want to ensure it's authentic before I pay. I'm not super familiar with vintage bags made in China, serial code A050-9061. Seller is supposedtobedeals.

Thank-you so much for your time and expertise.

Technically it's not "vintage" since it's not 20 years old yet. It was made in 2005.

Hello - please authenticate this slim handle backpack. I received my other one and I love it! Thank you.

Comments: I think this is real, but I’m paranoid now because of recent fake Coach purchase on eBay.

Thank you.

Hi all! I wanted to see if any of you are able to see if the bag from this listing is real and if so, what kind of bag is it? The patch has no serial number but from what I’ve been learning sometimes a bag can still be real but have no number?

Item: just listed as a “Vintage Coach Messenger type bag purse”

Attached are pics from the listing - thanks in advance!

It's authentic. It's a Sheridan Briefcase #5268 made around 1993. It's not really a purse. Measurements are 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 3. Sheridans and Dakotas were sometimes made without creed numbers. Everything else from the same era should have numbers.

Hi Authenticators!
Can someone take a look at these 2 listings for a #4313 and determine if they are authentic? A photo of the creed for each listing is attached. Many thanks!

Item: Vintage 90's Coach Sonoma crossbody 4313 Red Pebbled Leather
Seller: Susies treasure Palace
Item Number: 395156892010
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/395156892010

2nd listing:
Item: Coach Sonoma 4313 red leather bag
Seller: lacarte
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-Sonoma-4313-red-leather-bag-6510a8e47dfcc2e930f69b34

The creed and serial stampings indicate that both are in genuine Sonoma Mini Zips. I can't see the actual listings.

Would you like me to post the listing photos for you to view?
It's not necessary. I was able to see the other pictures in the listings.

Oh wow, thanks so much for letting me know! I’ve been looking for bags made in 1993 (my birth year) and always thought it was so funny I was born a year before the serial number system could help me find bags from ‘93 lol. Thanks so much again!

Hi, I know Poshmark is a sore topic here, and I totally agree, but i see this seller is using coach catalogs for her ads...even some that are water marked with her name. Isn't it against the law for use of coach catalogs in these selling ads?

Many sellers do the wrong thing in using Coach's copyrighted images and catalog pages in their listings. I don't think it's right that ANY seller use another seller's or another company's images, description, catalogs, etc.

It's deja vu all over again...

Are there any photos or mentions of the alleged "authenticator's" name in the listing for the red Willis from Posh seller catsmewow? Just wondering. The "Posh Authenticate" page isn't really clear.

The Willis is NOT vintage since it was made in 2006, so the "Vintage" category used in the listing is technically incorrect and what I would actually consider misleading. (I believe I already know the seller's names and connections). I don't authenticate items already "authenticated" by a certain service, I'm just wondering if she might be using that particular service or the Poshmark service. Is there any way to tell?

"... All in all it's just a-
nother brick in the Wall"

ETA - I have less of a problem with sellers using catalog scans in listings than I do with the scumbags who scan catalogs or digital media onto dvds or thumb drives and sell Coach's trademarked property for a profit. Calling a bag "vintage" when anyone who calls themselves a Coach expert should know that it doesn't meet the definition is bad enough, but violating US Copyright and Trademark laws out of sheer greed is actually illegal.
