Hi guys, this is a recent outlet product - Peanuts collab.
The creed is H2261-CE918
Unfortunately the internal magnet is covered in paper as this is a new bag.

There are quite a few of these *NEW* on every selling site, which ordinarily is a red flag.
On the other hand, this is a Christmas item that might be overstock that Coach is trying to get rid of. I'm not sure if the creed is enough information to authenticate, I hope so.
TIA!!!

You don't show the link/seller from whom you purchased this item or if not yet purchased, where it's listed but I have concerns. Please post a link to a listing if online.

Many (if not most) of the "collaboration" styles are listed and sold by Japanese sellers and from what I've seen, most of the collaboration items are fake. An additional problem is that the fakes are extremely close and unless one knows what to look for and has 30-60 minutes to scrutinize the details, it's easy to be fooled.

If this item is from a seller in Japan or was sourced from Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia or the Philippines, I recommend against buying.

And with every current and completed listing on ebay (ATM) being from Japan, I am not comfortable.

But I will say that based on what I see in the pictures you've posted, I believe the bag in question is fake.

Additionally, if you can get a clearer straight on picture of the creed, I'd like to see it. A picture of the male part of the snap would be helpful and if there a price tag a picture of that.

OK GREAT! Yes it is Japanese. I knew it.
Here is a listing I was looking at,

This listing *does not show* the creed. Most do not. I dug up one listing with a creed to ask here. My thinking on this listing was, it came to the top in the search. Ebay does an ***ok*** job of blocking fakes, at least they try a little.

Just like those spring locks from China, they probably all come from the same source.
Thanks!

Hi Authenticators
Can someone take a look at this listing and weigh in? The cosmetic pouch might be style 6988 but I've not seen a pebbled coin case like this one. Do you have any info to share if the coin case is authentic?
I've attached a separate photo of the bottom markings from the seller - top logo is the coin case, bottom logo is the cosmetic pouch.
Thank you!

the second one is a Sheridan. I have #4308 Sheridan cosmetic case in my files but no pictures or measurements.

Hi guys, I have never used this forum before so I hope I’m doing this right.

I purchased the Bonnie #13378 Purse from a seller on Poshmark. They said the purse had never been used and it looked great when it came to me. I’m heartbroken because I fell in love with this purse and now after only a couple weeks of having it the “leather”(?) or the coloring seems to be coming off the front. I tried cleaning it with saddle soap and leather conditioner but the saddle soap made it worse. I have been so careful with the purse I can’t imagine why this is happening other than it being a fake? If it’s not a fake what could be going on? If it IS a fake, please guide me to the real version of this purse because I adore it and want it to last forever.

Both seem fine.

The cosmetic case can be 6987, 6988 or 6989. The seller doesn't have measurements so it's impossible to know which it is.

Thank you. Seller photos show a Coach patch on the inside which made me think it's likely style 6988. Style 6987 pouches I've seen don't have the patch.
Any idea what the coin case could be?

Thank you - great info!
@whateve when I saw the style number you shared, I began to sleuth and found this PM listing for a #4308 that says the dimensions are approx. 7x5.5x2. The listing shows a product tag and a cut off copy of the catalog page. Hope the info is useful for your - and the other authenticators' - files.

Thank you! The link isn't working for me but I found the listing. It turns out I have that same catalog page in my files but never tagged it for the cosmetic case since it is cut off. Having the measurements really helps.

Hello again - I am embarrassed about this one so I really appreciate your help.

Item: Coach Signature Denim Tabby

Seller: Rakuhashi on EBay

Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/4047355517...wHcGh_RTeK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Measurements: 10 1/2" (L) x 6 1/2" (H) x 3 1/2" (W)

I apologize the “made in” tag pic is blurry. Please let me know if you need any more pictures.

Thank you.

I'm sorry but it's fake.

I strongly recommend against buying Coach from sellers in Japan.

Go to your order and open a return claim for not as described.

Thank you - that is what I thought also.

Hello. I contacted the seller - seller is asking for details. I said sloppy and not centered creed, red glaze on zipper pull, chemical smell, and overall quality issues.

Do you think that is sufficient? Thanks in advance.
Good lord! Fakes are so pervasive in Japan that I started a thread about it in June 2019. In the subsequent (nearly) 5 years, it's gotten way worse.

My warning thread: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/japanese-coach-ring-warning.1012568/

As such, I certainly will NOT give specifics that will help the counterfeiters make better fakes.

With that said, for NAD (not as described) disputes on ebay, there's NO REASON to discuss anything with the seller. Just go to your order and open a dispute to return the item. Seller will have to pay for a return shipping label if they want the item back or they'll have to issue a refund without returning it.

Once a claim is opened, seller has 3 days to respond and if he doesn't, you can go back and request that ebay step in, after which they may issue the refund.

Because it's not a US seller, they won't be able to issue a return shipping label but will have to send you the money prior to your shipment. (DO NOT PAY TO RETURN BEFORE GETTING THE MONEY or you won't get reimbursed for the label!)

Again, go to ebay NOW and open a return request. Stop communicating with the seller.

Although Poshmark is the last site I recommend as well as being one of the least safe, the bag in question is authentic.
