If it's ok, may I repost this bag? There's something about the various Patricia bags that has me confused/curious. Knowing they are highly faked (thanks to this forum!)has me wanting to learn more.
Hello Authenticators! I was hoping one of you could take a look at this bag if you have a free moment. I really appreciate your sharing your time and expertise. Thank you!

Good morning authenticators, I saw this at a thrift store but know nothing about Italy bags. Is this even real? Thanks View attachment 5877708View attachment 5877709View attachment 5877710View attachment 5877711

I believe that bag is fake.

I have records of showing a number of Sonoma bags (and non-Sonoma 4xxx fakes) with various plant codes claiming to be Italian made.

Please wait for @Hyacinth and @whateve to confirm or deny.

I agree, it's fake.

Better late than never...

Definitely fake.

Sorry you were missed.

It's fine, made in 2001.

Hi Authenticators,
Could you please check this one for me? I never had a Made in Italy bag (just like the previous poster) so I'm hoping this one is good. I haven't paid for it yet just in case. Thank you!

Comments: Thanks again!
It's authentic. Good price if you can fix the damage.

A quick fix would be a few stitches across the end or a blob of glue. I was actually referring to the black stains. I can't tell how bad the corner wear is. It is hard to reshape these types of bags.
Great idea for the zip!! Ugh about the dark stains and reshaping. I was wondering why nobody was outbidding me. Lol. If it cleans up nice I'll post it on the rehab page. ☺️ Thanks again!

Ugh! I'm so sorry.

For a long time, I've refused to recommend, promote or authenticate listings on Poshmark. I will no longer recommend or authenticate Mercari listings either. (I also won't spend my money on a site that has no issue with ripping buyers off!)

ALthough I know that their loss of my business isn't going to impact Mercari's bottom line, if enough potential buyers and sellers refuse to patronize them, they may rethink their ways.

@RoseTea007 - How was your payment made for the fake bag you got from Swiftly Thrifty on Mercari? if you used Paypal and/or a credit card, there are other options for getting your refund. In fact, a chargeback on your credit card could cost either the seller and/or Mercari a $20 chargeback fee! Personally, I'd fight this one on principle. (Have you been able to communicate with the seller directly?)

I realize my own refusal to help buyers and sellers with Poshmark and Mercari also impacts honest buyers and sellers on the sites and for that, I apologize. As much as people complain about ebay, they do offer buyer protection. Even without proof, a buyer who files a NAD (not as described) claim will win every dispute on ebay. Maybe that's why ebay is #1 and Mercari and PM are the wannabe followers.
Thank you so much for this and I apologize for my delayed response. I did purchase with a credit card. That is a good idea to dispute it that way. I messaged the seller directly and the seller never responded. After this experience, I will stick with Ebay only because of that policy. Thank you so much for all your help!
