Good evening Authenticators! May I please have an authentication. I have the bag in my possession. One more photo I'd like to add is the backing of the turn lock, it's sewed in.

Item: Willis
Seller: teekva
Listing: Poshmark

I have no idea why the turnlock would be sewn in. It shouldn't. The creed looks good and I don't see any other problems. More opinions are welcome.

Although you came here and verified authenticity of this item, we goofed. (Had @whateve not commented on the listing, I would have posted that it looked good to me too.)

For reference, this was the original request you'd posted: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...ost-for-format.889527/page-5618#post-35771809

But as it turns out, we both were wrong and the Rexy charm you bought on Mercari from DanTheBagMan is fake. If you used a credit card for payment, that's a last resort if Mercari (1st option) or Paypal (2nd option if used) for disputing the purchase.

As has been found during the last decade or so, the fakes have gotten very close, both in bags as well as accessories. In fact, in January, 2019, I started a PM conversation with the other authenticators in which I've been adding "close fakes" so we have pictures of the comps and how close they are for our records. That thread in 4.5 years is 37 pages long - and growing!

In order to avoid helping the counterfeiters (and the sellers of fakes) to make a better fake, I shall avoid pointing out too many differences. There are other differences but the following 2 photos are enough to prove inauthenticity.

But the lightning bolt shows a big difference as does the clip. (Click to enlarge)

@Roxy5705 -- apologies for the mistake. If necessary, refer Mercari and DanTheBagMan here.

DanTheBagMan has a lot of Coach charms. If items have come from the same source, beware.
Thank you for letting me know! I have submitted a refund/return request to Mercari.

Hello everyone! Im wondering if the authenticators can help with the authenticity/identity/year of this vintage Coach bag here.

It appears to be a vintage Dinky but Im not entirely sure.

Note; this is from a friend, and there appears to be no serial number. View attachment 5859369View attachment 5859370View attachment 5859371

Based ONLY on the creed stamp, the bag is genuine but we can't identify it without measurements. Several different early styles used that kind of strap attachment.

I'm not familiar with that kind of turnlock installation. It might be a replacement.

Good evening, authenticators. I’m looking for authentication and style ID on this pre-1994 bag, in my possession. I know it’s not a Pocket purse, based on the flap. 9.5 x 6 x 2.5 inches. Thanks so much for your time!
