Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
  • FOR ITEMS LISTED ONLINE:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Is it an authentic Courier? I know the creed photo isn’t the best. She said the numbers are 8571 and I think there are three more numbers before that. Apologies if you aren’t able to authenticate it without a better creed photo and I’ll update with one later when I receive it. Thanks!

It's more likely to be real than fake, but we ALWAYS need to see actual clear, readable photos of the creed and serial number since we look for specific details of the stamping itself such as the fonts used in both the creed stamp and serial number stamp and even the correct punctuation, and then compare the photos with our own photo files. We also recommend not buying Coach products especially highly-faked styles unless the seller has included those photos.

I personally have problems with my ancient computer that don't let me see the photos in most listings, so either one of the other authenticators has to look at the listing or the potential buyer has to post copies of the seller's photos here.

The best and quickest thing when authenticating a Coach product is to include a readable copy of the seller's photos with all authentication requests whenever possible.

THere's just a single picture and it's not too clear (on my laptop) but the fact that it's Gildan tells me that you don't want it. Coach doesn't have their logo on Gildan t-shirts.

ETA: Please request that the seller send or post a picture of the neck label.

Looking further on Mercari, searching Coach t-shirt, a ton of these come up, saying Gildan and they are all around $20. Must all be counterfeits.

My guess is that they're probably fake. It's a current item price at close to $100 on the Coach site and $52.50 on the Outlet site. Thus, the $20 price one of those "too good to be true" cases.

I've never seen Coach items with Gildan labels.

Other opinions are welcome!
