Dear Authenticators,
May I kindly ask for your expertise in authenticating this original Rambler? Thanks much!

Seller is vintage-leather-ware

Just to correct a typo made by the seller; they show style number 9735 in the body of the description, but list the style number as 9725 in the listing title. It should be 9735.

I am so thrilled with my Madison Satchel that I bought another satchel, this one is a Broadway Satchel #9891 (I hope!). Please and thank you for taking a look and letting me know if it's authentic.

It looks good to me. From the late 1980s or early 1990s

Hey all! Could you please help me authenticate this bag? The serial number looks strange and I haven’t found many info about this type? Thank you so much

Hello authenticators, would you please be able to authenticate this little bag? Thanks in advance

Item: Crisp Vintage 90s COACH Sheridan Mayfield Cross Body Bag
Listing number: 165639593297
Seller and site where listed: eBay, dexterdoggie
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/165639593297
Comments: no creed number — did this ever happen with some bags?
It's authentic but not a Mayfield. It is the smaller Durham mini bag #4211. Many Sheridans were made without creed numbers.

It's authentic. There is an anomaly in the creed number. Normally there is a dash in the middle but this one has an extra number in that spot. This happened because all the symbols were on a roller type stamper and the person making this bag made a mistake. Same with the last digit being offset. It was made between 1989-1993. If you want any information about the style, you need to provide measurements and tell us where all the pockets are.

Thank you so much whateve! I am very happy I got an odd one haha!
The dimensions are:

Dimensions: length 29cm(11 4/8 inch)
height 17.5cm(7inch)
depth 7.5cm( 2 7/8 inch
It has a zipped internal pocket and an open large pocket under the flap.
Strap length is about 33 inches long( only the leather part).

I made the assumption is a Convertible Clutch 9635, but I might be wrong. Also, the colour is called bone? I am quite new and would love to learn more really about these amazing bags!

Many thanks.

Thank you so much! I am reading it came out around 1992-1993? The early 90s were good years for mini bags.

Edit to add: do you happen to know why some of the Sheridans didn’t get creed numbers? Did it depend on the factory they came from, possibly leading to variation in production?

It could have been the factory or it could have been during a certain period of production. I have 1992-1993 in my records.
