Hello!

I am interested in buying the following two vintage Coach bags from MECARI Japan:

1) Court Bag : https://jp.mercari.com/item/m27426059478
2) Daypack: https://jp.mercari.com/item/m31552150117

Would someone please authentic these two bags for me?

Many thanks in advance

I strongly recommend against buying any Coach bag if the seller does not show a photo of the creed and serial number in a bag style that is supposed to have them. If a seller cannot take a minute or two to take a photo that can help you determine if the bag is genuine or counterfeit, they do NOT deserve your business.

Popped into the thrift store today and found this what I believe is a NYC companion bag, not sure about color, burgundy? Measures 11” x 7.5” It came complete with anchor stamps and stuffed with Coach tissue. Please let me know if I got it right. Thank you!

i’m no pro, but the reason i think it’s authentic is that there is a bullseye stamp in the upper corner which is what Coach would use for sale items or overstock bags that were marked for clearance or sent to the outlets. I have a few Italy bags from that era and they have that same lining.

Never depend on an outlet stamp to prove authenticity. Not only have we seen faked outlet stamps, but fakes "returned" to a Coach store for a refund can receive genuine outlet stamps.

There's a reason we allow only authorized authenticators to give opinions on authenticity, see post Number One in this thread:

"... Note: The PurseForum requests that only members with an extensive knowledge of the brand and authenticating who have over 500 posts participate as authenticators in this AT thread..."

If counterfeiters can make fake creed and serial number stamps, what's so hard about making a fake outlet stamp?

ETA - Here are several examples of obviously fake bags with "outlet stamps" that aren't quite what they should be either.

Someone else might comment on this bag (because I don't promote or help Poshmark) but it's a seller who doesn't verify authenticity of her items.

This is a fake that was sold for $80 by virginia0818

Hello lovely authenticators! Need an opinion on this one. Thrifted this one at vv yesterday and was so excited when I found it, it looks vintage. Lately, I found myself having an obsession with Coach purses probably I have 10 so far and this will be perfect addition to my collection. Any opinion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much
Item: Vintage Coach Bag Pelham (I guess?)
Where purchased or how obtained: thrifted at vv
Comments: I searched for it online and I can't seem to find a coach bag that has the same creed as this.
