I just read the forum members comments about Tradesy. I recall CBS Morning News interviewing their owner earlier this year. The owner stated their items are authentic! The review is on Youtube and there are manynegative comments online about this company if you just google "reviews of Tradesy."
I think there are negative reviews about every selling venue. I've only been using Tradesy for a few months but for me, it is the best. Four days after the buyer gets it, I can stop worrying. On ebay, 6 months later a buyer can come back with a claim.

The biggest risk to a seller is someone claiming their item is fake and Tradesy's authenticators agreeing with the buyer. That hasn't happened to me yet. But it has happened on ebay and I was told by ebay reps that they aren't in the authentication business, so if the buyer says it is fake, you have to take it back and give a full refund. Behind the scenes, ebay might sometimes remove the defect. At least with Tradesy I have a fighting chance they will agree my item is authentic. And buyers are less motivated to claim fake since shipping and returns are free.

With Tradesy I don't have to deal with the buyers who say it wasn't the shade of green they were expecting, or the bag is too small, or makes them look fat, or they don't like the color of the zipper, or they never authorized the transaction - all of which I've had to deal with on ebay.

DITTO!!
They have some tweaking to do but it's user-friendly and safe for buyer and seller.

You can ONLY compare bags that have the same exact style numbers.

In general and ONLY within the last year or so, bags with "Est 1941" under the Coach logo on the outside were made for the Factory Stores. The ones that say "New York" under the Coach logo were made for the full-price stores. Both the ones you're asking about are Made For Factory bags.

I don't see problems with either one. They were made a year apart and have slight differences which may be why they have different style numbers. More opinions are welcome.

Thank you both! :)

I found out there ARE FAKES ON TRADESY! A pair of UGG Boots I purchased. But they agreed to take them back. They can from their VERY OWN STORE!!

Update for you guys on my purse that was authenticated here and the buyer ( llally2012 ) said was fake. She returned the bag, I paid for the return shipping. Instead of putting it in a box like she received it, she stuffed it into a manila envelope (it was padded at least). Then my mailman stuffed it into my mailbox. So it was bent and wrinkled when I got it back. :nono:

eBay did ding me with a defect which I protested. The first person I spoke with forwarded me to an escalation representative to which I gave my explanation. He put me on hold for a couple of minutes and when he came back said they would reverse the defect on my account. He also told me to watch my feedback and if she left me a negative feedback they would reverse that too.

Not the best outcome! Sheesh, you'd think since she wasn't paying for the postage, she could have put it in a box!

This is one of the many things I hate about ebay. The buyer is automatically right when she claims fake, the seller loses money, and then the seller has to beg to at least get the defect removed.

This is very true. They need to be reminded that they make all their money from the sellers and zero from the buyers - that we should be treated a little better, not penalized. I've never sold anywhere but on eBay and know nothing about the other places. I guess I really need to look into it.

Could someone authenticate this Coach bag for me please?

Wait for Beenburned. The seller isn't recommended. Her other ID was NARUed.

Hey girl! It's been a long time since you've posted here! Glad to see you back!

I do think the wallet you bought is authentic.

However, your seller has quite the history!

Regarding creamsiclemolly and her now-NARU'ed alterego, rosemerrily, there have been several recent discussions about them.

She has a long history of butchering both fake and authentic keychain and selling the charms separately on generic chains as "Coach jewelry" when the necklace or bracelet wasn't made by Coach and in many cases, the charms weren't Coach either.

Rosemerrily:
The following discussion is a scary close fake!!

And in the keychain clubhouse, there's even more discussion!! Do a search of both IDs and you'll hit the jackpot.

I did not want to bust your bubble when you posted it. These wallets are notorious for getting dirty and also for the metallic leather rubbing off.

I had a feeling that the wallet was not going to be in too good of shape. And I think it is hard to photo the issues.

A good seller would have detailed the issues in the text box.

I was successfully able to rehab the wallet, see the link below; but it was an expensive lesson to learn the hard way - thanks again for all your help!
