  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read

Hello authenticators. Hope you could please help me in authenticating this bag. My grandmother gave this to me.
Item: Vintage Courtbag
Where purchased or how obtained: Hand me down from my grandma. Said it was only a gift to her as well.
Comments: I'm not sure about the creed because it says it's made in korea. Is this legit? I've gotten mixed answers on Google :/

Sorry, it's fake. You can never depend on Google as an authentication source.

Coach has NEVER made handbags, small leather goods, wallets, or briefcases in Korea. That country, at least the ROK, has been a major source of counterfeits from Asia for at least 40 years.

Comments: Currently in my possession. From what I've read on here Coach was going through major changes to the creed in 1994, but I'm still concerned about this one. I've never seen a vintage purse with silver number's stamped on the inside raw part of the leather. I will add a photo of it. Also, I think it's British Tan, and not Mahogany as the seller listed. It's authentic. I believe the color is British tan too.
