How is it that the fake listed on Bonanza is already removed, but not on eBay? How long does it usually take eBay to remove fakes once it's reported? None of the ones I've ever reported were ever removed even when I provided proof.
I find Bonanza to be very responsive to reported fakes and scams. And that impresses me!

Item: Coach Legacy Stripe Satin Kisslock Wallet
Listing number: 321786269557
Seller: creamsiclemolly
Price: $81 (MSRP = $248)

Comments: I shouldn’t have bought it becauseI already have many wallets, but it was an impulse buy. I have always been a sucker for the 65th Anniversary Collection and legacy stripes and kisslocks. I am pretty sure that it is genuine but I would greatly appreciate your expert opinions. Thank you!
Wait for Beenburned. The seller isn't recommended. Her other ID was NARUed.

Hey girl! It's been a long time since you've posted here! Glad to see you back!

I do think the wallet you bought is authentic.

However, your seller has quite the history!

Regarding creamsiclemolly and her now-NARU'ed alterego, rosemerrily, there have been several recent discussions about them.

She has a long history of butchering both fake and authentic keychain and selling the charms separately on generic chains as "Coach jewelry" when the necklace or bracelet wasn't made by Coach and in many cases, the charms weren't Coach either.

Rosemerrily:
The following discussion is a scary close fake!!

And in the keychain clubhouse, there's even more discussion!! Do a search of both IDs and you'll hit the jackpot.

Oh dear! If I had done my research first it would have given me the strength to resist! I am glad that you think it is genuine. I will let you know how the transaction turns out. I haven't posted in a long time. I have been trying to stay away from thrift shops and online auctions because I have too many bags! But I caved in this time.

As always, thanks so much for your expertise!

They look okay but to be sure, I'd like to see the imprinted size and style information from the underside of the upper. It's either under the front "tongue" or on the side and it might be difficult to get a picture. If you can try, I can confirm.

Ebay can't legally remove reported fakes based only on member reports. The reports have to be confirmed by Coach's VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) rep since Coach is the trademark and copyright holder whose legal rights have been violated.

As for what ACTUALLY goes on when a report is received, who knows? We just know that the larger the seller's sale numbers, the smaller the chance their listings will get pulled. We also know that many fakes DON'T get pulled, and quite a few genuine items DO. So whoever Coach's VeRO rep is, they need to do a much better job.

I'm the seller of this bag and have been here (although absent over the last year or so) for a decent amount of time. I pulled the eBay listing when I was informed it was a fake. This one slipped by me and I'd never sell a fake intentionally.

I believe you.

When listings are posted for authentication, the authenticators look at the seller's other listings and you didn't have any other fakes.

Mistakes happen. As long as you know that fakes can be "good," can have seemingly correct style numbers and "feel" right, you'll know that it's not necessarily the real deal. Just have future bags authenticated if you didn't personally buy them brand new.

Thank you for ending the ebay listing. You did the right thing, something many sellers don't do.
