It's authentic. The clip doesn't look original to me but I've never seen this style. The "strings" might be original. A lot of early bags had thin straps like that and since it is a continuation of the drawstring, they may not have considered making them thicker on the carry part.

The piping between the seams (that is cracked) is plastic. This type of construction was used on many bags of that era. I don't know how you would repair that.

The seller has an extensive collection of rare Bonnie Cashin bags and has been on resale sites for many years.

I don't believe that coin purse is made by Coach.

ETA: It doesn't appear to be counterfeit as I don't see any "Coach" markings. The seller is incorrect in believing it's Coach and it shouldn't be sold as such.

I agree, that's NOT the trademarked Coach Carriage logo. The seller " luxuryapparels " is wrong calling it a " Coach Horse Hang Tag", it's NOT.

Here's a blowup of the "Carriage". I've watched dozens of historical dramas, and that ain't no Carriage, it looks more like a sulky or cart, and that isn't a Coach hangtag. Click on the thumbnail.
