Comments: I think the color description is accurate? It's supper hard to tell burgundy and mahogany apart in photos but this does seem to have subtle purple/red tones to it.

The bag is authentic. I'm not sure which hang tag you're questioning but the one of the right isn't authentic.

ETA: There are a lot of fake hangtags and most don't have such a blatant mistake.

It's authentic but looks like mahogany to me.

I can't seem to find the style of this - there are multiple that are close (Oliver, Swagger, Metropolis), but not exactly the same...which has me thinking that maybe it's not authentic. The leather feels "ok", but it might be that they used a wax on it that makes the outside feel less supple than I was expecting. I'm 95% sure the hang tag isn't the original, because I would expect it to say Coach Leatherware though I'm obviously not an expert. I believe the Poshmark listing has all the pictures needed, but willing to provide others if necessary.

It's authentic. It's not a New York city bag as the seller claims. The creed doesn't say New York City. It might have been made in NYC but there is no way to tell. I think it is a Lewiston bag made around 1993. They were transitioning away from the hangtags with leatherware so it could be the original hangtag.

Thank you for the great info...upon googling "Lewiston", I came across a post from you identifying the style back in 2014 small world if it's the same bag...haha. Again, thanks so much for the quick and detailed response!
