Hello authenticators! Please help to authenticate this bag I found on ebay. Seller mentioned it is bought from the boutique store and brand new. It is sold out everywhere. Seller also said there is receipt but unwilling to show me as she said "Sorry. We don’t reveal our sources to Customers again all our items are authentic with original packaging and serial number inside". I am afraid it is not authentic and thus she does not want to show me the receipt.
Any ideas on how sellers on ebay can get goods from boutique stores and sell them and make profits?

listing: https://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/Coach-P...=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0

Thank you in advance!

I have happily found so much great info on this site over the years. Recently, I purchased a NYC Coach Classic Shoulder Pouch (current style no. 9170) from a thrift store. It seems to meet all the requirements to be authentic except for the unique two-tone strap with the slightly less than stellar sewing/construction on the underside of the 36" strap. I did see a comment regarding unintentional two-tone strap with regard to another 9170 authentication but would appreciate a second opinion. Years ago, I shopped the Coach Outlet Store in Reading, Pa where they had a wonderful second floor for "Factory Seconds" so I am aware that not all of their products are perfect. Measures approximately 10”W x 9”H x 4”D. I'd love to hear back from you, I know it's not a huge issue but it keeps nagging me. Many thanks for your time and expertise!

Hello Authenticators!
I recently purchased this bag on Poshmark and was hoping you could help me confirm it’s authenticity. I have a hunch it may not be but this thread has proven to be such a help in past authentications, I thought I’d give it a shot!
It’s 13 inches long and 14 inches wide. It’s also pretty flat.

The bags seems good but I can't say the same about the seller's record with fakes, including a very recent one. Always remember to Search for the seller name or ID:

Genuine Large Slim Shoulder Bag made in 2001.

The bag is fine. The shoulder strap simply looks like the 2 types of leather have taken the dye differently or faded differently with time. You can't really "authenticate" a strap unless it has obvious problems that would never occur with a real Coach part. The piping used for straps had to be thinner and more flexible that the leather used in the body of the strap or the bag itself.

here’s one from eBay: seller is NFfashions

All three for $30 seems too good to be true, although the bag is a little dirty on the bottom.
Not sure if the creed number is visible - i reached out to the seller for better pictures.

are they real?

thank you!
I'm not sure whether this post got a response. I'm playing catch-up.

All three pieces look fine.

Hi there, I was wondering if you could help me figure out where this purse was made. I have it new in box, with the style number, but there is no country of origin on it. Any information would be greatly appreciate. Thank you. Its about 5 15/16" x 4.75"

1- If the country of origin isn't stamped somewhere in it, there's no way to tell.
It's in there behind the bottom half's back pocket.

Arrow below shows your picture and where to look.

Black one shows it on my own item.
